Refund policy

TRUNKI is operated by Plus Social Pty Ltd trading as TRUNKI (ABN 13 638 223 588).

30-Day TRUNKI Guarantee 

We offer a 30-day guarantee from the date you receive your order for issues that are our responsibility, including:

- The item is faulty or defective

- The wrong item was sent

- The item is damaged in transit (with evidence)

If your claim is accepted, we will provide an appropriate remedy such as a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund, depending on the issue and what the ACL requires. Please note we do not refund due to change of mind or accidental orders. This includes cases where the item is not faulty but you no longer want it or selected an option that doesn’t suit your specific trim/configuration.

This guarantee is offered in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Fitment note

Our vehicle drop-down selector is a basic compatibility guide to help reduce ordering errors (make/model/year and common seat layouts). Our seat covers are not custom-made for each individual vehicle.

Most vehicles shown in the selector achieve a great fit, however seat trims and seat configurations can vary between variants (including rear split layouts and seats with integrated features). Because of this, we do not guarantee a “perfect” fit in every scenario.

Important limitations:

  • Integrated / seat-mounted armrests: not compatible. If your seats have armrests attached to the seat, these covers will not fit correctly.

  • Split rear seats (e.g., 60/40): suitability can vary by vehicle and trim. Please contact us before ordering if you require confirmation for split rear configurations.

Fitment vs fault: A fitment preference or configuration mismatch (where the product is not faulty and was not misdescribed) is generally treated as change of mind / incorrect selection and is not covered by our 30-day Trunki Guarantee. This does not limit any remedies you may have under the ACL.

 

Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This policy does not limit your rights under the ACL.

How to request a return (fault-based)

Email info@trunkistore.com within 30 days of delivery with:

- Your order number

- A description of the issue

- Clear photos/videos showing the problem (where relevant)

If approved, we’ll provide instructions for return shipment (if required).

Return conditions

Where a return is required:

- Items must be returned in a reasonable condition (and with all included parts/accessories).

- If the issue is confirmed as a fault or our error, we will cover the reasonable return shipping cost or provide a return label where available.

Refund timeframes

If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to the original payment method. Banks and payment providers typically take a few business days to finalise the funds after we process the refund.
